Peter Reek has spent more than three decades building businesses, leading teams, and helping organizations grow across industries including recruitment, marketing, coaching, and leadership development. Over the course of his career, he worked with brands such as lululemon, Nintendo, and Best Buy, leading expansion efforts and advising companies through seasons of growth and change.
But somewhere along the way, the questions became more personal.
After years spent helping organizations grow, Peter found himself increasingly drawn to the deeper work of helping people navigate transition, meaning, identity, and what comes next. That shift eventually led him to sell his business and return to graduate school, completing a master’s degree focused on Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching.
Today, Peter’s work is centered around a simple but deeply held belief: midlife is not a crisis to survive, but an opportunity to reimagine how we live, work, connect, and move forward.
Through his work with SHIFT Into Life, Peter creates experiences designed to help people approach the second half of life with greater clarity, courage, and intention. His work includes coaching, retreats, guided travel experiences, group programs, writing, and live events that help people reconnect with what matters most.
Drawing from both research and lived experience, Peter brings together practical wisdom, thoughtful conversation, and a deep belief in the power of community. His work resonates especially with those navigating change, asking bigger questions, or sensing that there may be a more meaningful way to move through this season of life.
He believes the second half of life can become one of the most creative, purposeful, and alive chapters we ever experience — if we are willing to step into it intentionally.
