Day by the Sea

Come with your BIG questions

Twelve seats. The ocean just beyond the windows. A slower rhythm for a single day. Day by the Sea is an intimate retreat experience for people carrying big questions about work, relationships, transition, purpose, creativity, identity, or what comes next. You arrive with whatever feels unresolved, uncertain, exciting, or quietly tugging at you, and spend the day in thoughtful conversation, reflection, and connection alongside a small group of people doing the same. Hosted in beautiful coastal settings, these gatherings create space to think more clearly, listen more deeply, and discover that many of the questions we carry are not ours alone.

Picture this: a day by the sea dedicated to those big, soulful questions that linger just beneath the surface. You know, the ones that tug at you quietly, the ones you’ve maybe set aside but can’t quite shake. Join us at Beecher Place in Crescent Beach—a place where the sound of the waves gives permission to slow down, to breathe, to really dig in. This isn’t just any retreat. It’s a small gathering, just ten of us, where each question matters. Whether you're stepping into something new, trying to declutter and find flow, or just craving a fresh sense of clarity, this day is designed for you. Together, we’ll explore, reflect, and tap into what’s calling each of us forward. It’s about curiosity, connection, and leaving with a little more lightness than when you arrived.

This day could be for you if ...

  • You're in a period of transition, be it in your career or life.
  • You're seeking to recenter, find your flow, or cultivate meaning.
  • You're embarking on a new venture and could use some clarity on where to begin or where to focus your efforts.
  • You're looking to simplify, declutter, and streamline your life.
  • You're feeling stuck and in need of a fresh perspective.
  • You simply want to treat yourself to a day of self-reflection and growth.
  • You're ready to start a new habit (or break an old one).

The Format: Here's how it unfolds

  • The Kickoff: At 9 am, our first participant takes a seat across from our facilitator and shares their burning question.
  • Guided Exploration: Our experienced facilitator will ask you thought-provoking questions about your question. Together, we'll explore possibilities for your next steps.
  • Learning through Observation: You won't be alone on this journey. The process continues as the next person steps up, and then the next, throughout the day.
  • Building Community: As we progress, our group of around 10 individuals will naturally gravitate towards helping each other move closer to clarity and, perhaps, into action.
  • Free Time: We'll take a good break for lunch - there are great coffee shops and food options in Crescent Beach, and you can take a leisurely walk on the beach to soak in some fresh air (alone or with others).

The Benefits

  • Observation: Gain valuable insights by learning vicariously through the experiences and perspectives of others.
  • Power of Others: Be inspired and motivated by the group, propelling your thoughts and actions forward.
  • Community: Build bonds with like-minded individuals, fostering trust and camaraderie to enhance your personal journey.
  • Laughter: We won't take ourselves too seriously and will have some fun together.

What you'll walk away with

Ultimately, what you walk away with will depend on your willingness to invest in the circle. However, here's a glimpse of what you could gain from this extraordinary day by the sea (if you're invested):

  • Clarity and Insight: Gain fresh perspectives and insights to navigate transitions, make more informed decisions, and get closer to your path.
  • Enhanced Self-Awareness: Elevate your emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills through meaningful interactions within our circle.
  • Actionable Insights: Uncover ideas, strategies, and solutions that can be immediately applied to your journey, moving you closer to your goals.
